T.WORTH - On a rainy Friday night in Texas, two brothers from Oklahoma made sure a little rain didn't dampen their party at the largest honky tonk in the world. Guitars in hand, The Swon Brothers made their way on the stage at Billy Bobs Texas for what was to become a historic night in these brothers lives. With each of their first names emblazend on their guitar straps they began the night with "Pick Up Line", in which the girls went crazy. Zach Swon on the left, Colton Swon on the right, strummed their guitars and smiled at the crowd like it was the best night of their lives. Next up was "What Im Thinking About" and "Song That Said It All" in which they proudly announced had been written with Lady Antebellum. The summer feel good song of the evening was "95" followed by a powerful vocal performance of "Pretty Beautiful". Harmonies in tact, these boys were meant to sing together. The oldest brother Zach, dressed in black jeans and a leather jacket with boots, took on lead vocals throughout the night. Younger brother Colton, dressed in gray jeans and a maroon t-shirt with boots, proudly helping out with harmonies, while running from side to side of the stage to engage with the crowd. Before beginning the next song, Colton shared with the crowd that they know how lucky they are to do what they do for a living, and that they know where their blessings come from. With that being said, faith driven current single "Pray For You" was next. About halfway through the set, they mentioned that they had been on a little TV show called The Voice and had Blake Shelton as their coach. They played a fan favorite from the show "Fishin In The Dark", which was clearly a crowd favorite as well. Fraternal banter in between songs, Zach hilariously joked "Im really only doing this duo thing until my solo career works out", while Colton laughed histarically and quickly assured the crowd that it wasn't true. Incorporating their 5 piece band, along with the crowd into the next 3 classic rock to country cover songs, it was very clear these boys can sing anything. As the evening started to wind down, Zach took lead on a cover of "Stay With Me" by Sam Smith. Following him, Colton launched into a solo cover of "My Girl", each showcasing their individual talents of instrumental and vocal abilities. Ending the night with there very first single "Later On", the boys thanked the crowd for a great night as they exited the stage. Returning about a minute later, the brothers began their encore with a Boston classic. Sailing into their final song of the evening, Colton explained that it started their whole journey on The Voice. With that, they launched into their blind audition song "All American Girl". The brothers thanked the crowd and Billy Bob's for making their lifelong dream playing there come true. These brothers from Muskogee, Oklahoma made it very clear that they aren't just a couple of singing competition contestants. They are brilliantly talented and truly love what they do for a living.
