Hershey, PA:  This past Saturday was Hershey’s annual Mixtape Festival.  The scorching hot weather didn’t stop fans from seeing their favorite bands from the 90s,  as thousands of fans filled the stadium.

Texas pop rocker Ryan Cabrera kicked off the festival playing an all acoustic set, including his big hits “True” and “On The Way Down”.  Pop girl band Dream was the second group to take the stage, the group broke up in 2003, but made a their comeback in 2015.  Even with this being their comeback, they were still able to bring the crowd to their feet.   O-Town was third to play, the band formed in 2000 on MTV’s Making The Band but broke just a few short years later in 2003.  The band made their comeback in 2015 and have been growing rapidly in popularity.  They opened their set with “Liquid Dreams”, covered The Weekend’s “I Can’t Feel My Face” and finished their set with fan favorite “All or Nothing”.  98 Degrees of course played all of their huge hits, but also surprised the crowd with a “TRL hits mashup” playing a wide variety of songs including Blink 182, Backstreet Boys and Brittany Spears.  Boyz II Men had no problems catching the crowds attention, they had everyone’s attention from the very first note.  The group played obvious hits along with a few surprise covers, Journey’s “Open Arms”, Ed Sheehan’s “Thinking Out Loud”, Marvin Gaye’s  “Let’s Get it On” along with a few other big hits.  Paula Abdul played her first show in 25 years, she is still just as incredibly talented as she was then.  Her choreography is incredible, and it is amazing how she can still just grab every single person’s attention.  Mixtape Festival Veterans New Kids On The Block closed out the festival playing  their biggest hits like “The Right Stuff” and “Step by Step”.  Their energy was insane, they ran from the stage to one side of the stadium to the other having fans chase them from one side to the other.

The hot weather didn’t stop anyone from having a great time, every single group made sure every single person their had the perfect day.
