TAMPA, FL Feb 2, 2017 – The Gasparilla Music Festival, presented by Frontier is hosting a music instrument drive and free concert on Saturday February 4 from 11am–2pm at Channelside Bay Plaza in downtown Tampa.  GMF will be collecting gently used instruments as part of its Recycled Tunes program which refurbishes the instruments and provides them to local schools.  Instrument donors will receive a FREE general admission ticket to the Gasparilla Music Festival taking place March 11-12 in downtown Tampa.

“Recycled Tunes’ mission is to ensure that every child in the Tampa Bay area has access to a musical instrument,” said Jamie Zinober, the program’s chair. “That one instrument sitting in your closet could change the entire course of a kid’s life.”
